Has anyone done this? I've been thinking of taking extended leave from work next summer and using the 6 weeks to campervan in Europe with my husband and 2 children (9 and 12).
Have just started musing over this so no real plans or routes in mind as yet. I'm a bit concerned about it being too hot while travelling but don't want to take the children out of school so would need to be over July & August.
We did a 2 week AI in Spain this year and it was a bit meh so we're in no rush to book something similar for next year.
My first thoughts were France/Spain but I had a look online and people have done similar but visited Croatia/Montenegro/Albania so would be open to ideas.
I'm interested in other people's experiences of trips like these with children and a go where you fancy vibe as opposed to sticking to a rigid travel plan.
