If you get 2+ takeaways a week

Do you tend to stick to the same or try different things?

Having realised I’ve eaten a Vietnamese noodle salad for dinner 3+ x a week for 5 weeks, I’m wondering what else I’m missing!

By and large, takeaways 3+ times a week are because I’m shattered and making decisions are beyond me so its easy to eat the same thing each time but I’m wondering if I’m alone!

(this isn’t a thread about NOT eating takeaways multiple times a week, that’s unlikely to change right now 😂)

On our more takeawayish weeks one tends to be a chippy because it's cheaper and quicker as we can pick it up and then the other tends to be a mix of either Indian or Chinese we live in the sticks though we do not have much choice sadly.

Definitely different, I wouldn't have the same thing more than once a week or even do the same place. Hmmm, although maybe I've done McDonald's more than once a week. But generally would vary. Partly because I can never decide so it's good to have a range.

I usually order 2/3 times a week depending on how busy I am.

I try and go for independent restaurants where I can, we have an amazing Korean place atm that does rice bowls I like to tell myself are healthy 😂

But it’s usually something with plenty of veg and authentic as I’m not a fan of chippy teas or Chinese etc.

Also, I'd do a mix of prices.

We tend to get a mixed meat kebab takeaway once a week from a local Turkish restaurant. It’s a tray of grilled chicken, lamb and beef and comes with a massive really nice salad. We share a large naan bread between us. It feels like a healthier option takeaway although I’m sure it’s not.

We tend to mix it up, we have tried to cut down to one a week but we are so busy between both working full time, extra curricular activities and caring for elderly parents neither of us can usually be bothered cooking at the weekend. We'd choose between Indian, Italian, Dominos, Chinese, KFC, McDonald's, Chippy, Nandos.

I am VERY good at convincing myself something is healthy 😂

Vietnamese noodle bowls and burrito bowls are the healthiest thing you could possibly eat surely! slight chance that’s misinformation

We are lucky enough to have a lot of fresh options (sadly no Chinese at all 💔) which doesn’t help but I think I really need to mix it up 😂
