Fake house plants

Reading another post about the joys and woes of real houseplants reminded me that I'd really like to buy some good quality fakes!

I'd rather have one or two expensive ones that look realistic, so am looking for recommendations please.

Home Sense plants are nice, I’ve got some lovely tulips from there. And IKEA.

Me too, I like the real ones but apart from killing all but the spider plants they have to be up on a wall or else one of the cats eats them! Even a high shelf isn't a deterrent 😂

Deco flora have a huge selection, I have had loads of flowers from them. People comment on the flowers in the house….then I tell them ( if I am feeling honest). They do plants as well.

I really dislike indoor houseplants, fine with plants in the garden .
My mum had hundreds of houseplants all over , she had/has hoarding tendencies and used to collect things but to excess.
Couldn’t move for bloody houseplants, some in pots some in water , cuttings growing roots ( not that she needed any more !)

but I had a dark corner in the hall and got a nice trailing fakey plant from Amazon.

Agree , Ikea is a good start

Got mum a nice lavender in a vase faux plant which was very pretty and realistic

I don't think they do it anymore but DAZ used to give away a plastic flower with every box of soap powder. My Mum had a whole bunch. Flowers 😁
