Eureka! Halifax vs the Wirral

I've never been to either but I'm planning on taking my two children soon.
I saw the offer for £1 entry for UC and was so excited only to learn it's only for the Wirral location.
I keep reading online that Halifax is much better... has anyone been to both?
My children are 4 and 7. I really want a good day out so would rather pay more if it's a lot better but if it's just similar I'll take the Wirral :)

Halifax is much better. It's bigger with more to do. The Wirral one is good but not comparable, it's smaller and won't take long to go round. They do nice activities at the Wirral one though we did slime making on one visit and watch a science show on another visit.

If you pay the full price you can visit unlimited for a year. But you can't mix and match, just one location.

Halifax is brilliant, Wirral is ok.
