Anyone else feel the almighty satanic todos going on in the UK?? Or even the whole world!!
Well I do. I feel them tremendously.
I have always believed in God and ashamed to say lost my way with him. But I have now welcomed him into my life again.

With all that is going on I am wanting to start going to church regularly. Can anyone provide guidance or know of any good forums I could join to really get the support on my journey? Thank you x

"Satanic to-dos"?? What do you mean?

If you want to explore Christianity, an Alpha course might be good. But are you sure you're not depressed? Get anything like that seen to medically. Don't rely on Jesus for healthcare.

Yes, those satanic todos.
Huge issue here in The UK

Satan isn’t real. It’s made up.

Rather than an online forum, I’d suggest talking to the priest and congregation. They will be the best ones to tell you about any classes available and give you support etc.

I was going to say something about demonic kerfuffles but I'm behaving myself.

What about evil shenanigans?

Moonmelodies · 11/08/2024 20:20

If you think the Satanic todos are bad wait til you read about God's shenanigans esp when he drowned millions of puppies and kittens.

Satan isn’t real. It’s made up.

…. And so is god (in my world). But everyone is free to believe in what they want to believe.

I personally believe that organised religion is the route cause of all evil.

Beelzebub galavanting around ??

HoppityBun · 11/08/2024 20:22

There’s an excellent episode on the origins and development of the idea of Satan in the Hebrew bible and elsewhere in the latest edition of the Within Reason podcast.

HappyLittleNarwhal · 11/08/2024 20:23

Gojira playing heavy metal at the Olympic Opening Ceremony was 100% orchestrated by Satan and his dark forces.

It's a sign of The Great Unleashing.

Time to get your religion on, OP.

GalacticalFarce · 11/08/2024 20:24

Well, there does seem to be a lot of evil in the world currently and if you want to put it down to Satan, fair enough.
Religion is a good medium for those wanting to structure and channel their force for doing good.
Have you visited your local churches? That might be a good start. You might not align with some so worth seeing what you connect with.

theduchessofspork · 11/08/2024 20:24

Its people are the problem OP, not the devil (even for those who believe in it.)

A nice church can be a great community and support, but please stay mainstream - anyone mentions exorcism pls walk the other way.

Josette77 · 11/08/2024 20:43

An Alpha course is a good place to start.

My favourite devotional is Jesus Calling. It's easy and lovely.

I also love my journal bible. It has space to write in it and colour. Buy wax highlighters for the bible. I find being able to write in my bible makes me feel more connected to it.

JanglingJack · 11/08/2024 20:47

Which God? You need to be careful out there.

PrettyJunglePlant · 11/08/2024 21:09

Try Greg Laurie harvest.org church and Elevation church with Steven Furtick, both American, one more mature and solid, firmly spoken, the other very dynamic, both faithfully preaching, both offer online zoom groups, I just joined one.
