This is kind of light hearted but its something that is driving me mad! The downstairs loo cistern needs replacing and my DH thought it was a job he could do. Well, two weeks later, the wrong part bought, the whole cistern taken off the wall and several floods later it is still not fixed. The upstairs loo is starting to play up as well and I've said lets just call a plumber in as the plumbing is whistling and shuddering. Still, he wont give in. Please make me feel better by telling me I'm not the only one whose DP/DH thinks he can do DIY, but struggles. Tell me your DIY disasters
