Moving out of rented flat etiquette

Just wondering what the etiquette is for leaving a rented apartment in terms of what to leave switched on etc.

Should I turn the boiler off? Also I’ve defrosted the fridge freezer- is it best leaving it off with doors left open to air out?

Sorrybits been years since we moved and I’m out of touch with what’s expected. Thanks 🙏🏼

Yes to leaving freezer and fridge doors open as they go mouldy inside otherwise.
Everything should be turned off including the boiler.

Check your inventory for how it should be left. But carpets wet cleaned, curtains laundered or dry cleaned, plug drains cleaned out, everything cleaned, incl skirting and door lintels, white goods cleaned, windows inside and out, cupboards cleaned and polished etc.

Boiler really depends on the type!
ask the estate agent as to what the expectations are
