Noisy neighbour

Does anyone know if local council make noisy homeowner aware they are going to fit noise equipment

No one told me

My daughter just been given a device to record her neighbour ( neighbour doesn't know). He does know he will be arrested if he threatens my daughter again ( she asked politely to ask them to turn noise down once ) he ended up.on her doorstep shoving her.
The noise is still going on.
Daughter loud music.. parents shouting at her and each other. Doors slamming.
Etc etc.

Wasn’t sure if they would be made aware but not told as and when

The recording they got was just me walking about and hoovering and stuff so the complaint was closed after three months. I found it really creepy
