How many user names?

How many user names do you have? I just had a look and have 300+ this is so I can stay anon. But im a bit crap at it. I for get why I use certain names. Other times i forget I had that name. I totally loose track so make another name then loose track of that one to .

I change it quite a lot ( ) but really it might not really keep you that anonymous unless you change accounts and use methods to avoid fingerprinting. I can imagine a weird future where my descendants have the information and read everything I've written online

Yes I know . I'm easy to spot no matter how much I change names. If I can hide for just a little bit that better than not at all 😅

Just the one as far as I can remember, I'm not massively bothered if people figure out who I am IRL, I'm not very controversial or interesting

I got banned on a forum for saying something silly as I giggled. Then bans for banned account. So there's this culture if you're silly or different from people or they don't belive you you get reported and banned then banned again if someone reports you for anything, forever.

53, I sometimes don't change for a long time then write something I think could be outing (with a quick search of my other posts) so then name change. I often think I ought to change it monthly regardless then forget.

300??? I wouldn't be able to think of anywhere near that number of names

I have no idea how many - I namechange every few weeks and have been here since it was all green fields, so quite a lot, probably.

@Name300 Is there a tally somewhere in settings, or did you have to count them all?

Oh hundreds. Change 3-4 times a week and I've been on here for years.
It's a good feature to protect anonymity but it also allows people to be pricks very easily. It would be better to allow people to delete threads I guess.

A little under 200. I don't say anything online that I wouldn't say IRL, but I prefer to keep some things separate. My boss doesn't need to hear about my gynae health. I have been recognised a few times by people who knew me IRL. So I change for different topics and also just fit when I feel I've posted enough personal info for someone to join the dots.

I do like it when a zombie thread gets resurrected and I recognise an old me. I usually agree with what I said at the time, but sometimes I find now I'm rather older I'm less naive.

Makes me feel better as I felt weird for having about a dozen or so.
I name change every time I start a new thread, for anonymity.
I never, ever, ever understand it when posters write "I've name changed for this".
I'm like "Why are you telling us that?!?"

I think I’ve changed about 10 times
I go on and on sometimes then have to change names
Its a shame as I’ve preferred previous user names much more

I've had three I think? But you can only use one at a time right?
