Love’s Goodbye - song - what is it?

I heard a really lovely song in a restaurant earlier. Sung by a woman. There was a bit towwards the end that said ‘how did it come to this’ then the end was singing ‘love’s goodbye’ on repeat. It was such a nice song and I want to know what it is! I should have asked in the restaurant but we were leaving and in a bit of a rush. Sounded folky but modern rather than ‘60s etc. Does anyone know??

I did. I got a load of song’s called goodbye my love, something by Paul McCartney. A bunch of stuff. And not the one I was after, sadly. I’ll probably do a bit more investigation later but am being a bit lazy admittedly…

I don’t think that’s the one unfortunately. Will listen again! It’s definitely not that version though a vastly remadeover cover is possible…

I’ve listened again and it’s definitely not that song above. If anyone else has any ideas I’d be very grateful. Google is not helping
