Help. I'm 65, size 14-16, 5'3". Sleeveless looks awful because of my wrinkly flabby upper arms. Knee length because of my varicose veins. But long plus sleeves looks so frumpy. Obviously I stick to cotton, linen etc, but any tips on style please?

Broderie Anglaise shirts where you can roll up the sleeves.

Shirt dresses with a belt

I’m of a similar age and I feel more comfortable with three quarter sleeves that come to just below my elbows, I think they look really nice too.
Im not very up to date with brands but I do have a Seasalt one and it shrank a lot, I’m 5’2” and it’s barely long enough now.
Big department stores often have the best selection from lots of brands, (also loos close by). I went to John Lewis last year when I needed a nice dress for my niece’s wedding and various meals out , and managed to find three that I liked.
