Nervous flyer and can’t book in online for tomorrow

Flying to the states tomorrow for a family holiday and can’t book in with BA on line either through the website or app. We’ve got allocated seats so no problem there. I’m a nervous flyer, I’m already wound up about weather, turbulence etc. and now I’m totally spiralling that I’ve done something wrong with the booking and we wont actually get on the plane! Any suggestions???

Travel regularly … probably just want to check passports & verify ESTA before you go through to avoid any issues

Usually it’s visa checks if you can’t check in online, nothing out of the ordinary

Re turbulence - flights between UK and USA are normally pretty smooth if that helps

DP has this on Monday, there was something wrong with the app. They just checked in at the airport.

Thank you pitterpatterrain that’s really reassuring. I think I know logically it’ll all be OK. Even so we are going to Florida and so I’m quietly panicking that there will be thunderstorms for landing at 5pm!
