Newborn baby thermometer?

We’ve got the general in the ears digital ones, but a lot say for 3months plus. What do we use that quick and accurate for a newborn/slightly prem baby? Are the scanners accurate?

goes under the armpit and there’s a 0-3 month option

Thanks, is it more accurate than the more expensive Braun tempal swipe one? Is that easier on a tiny baby?

I was told those ones you hold up to the face are not accurate at all. Under the armpit is more accurate

Armpit ones are probably the most accurate for tiny babies. We used the braun ear one no problem but not on a newborn

Thanks @meganna and @Pinkelephant66 will get an under arm one. Any suggestions or all as good as each other?

I’d say just make sure it’s a known brand! Like the Braun one

When we left NICU with DD1, the nurse told us that the Braun under arm thermometer gave the most reliable readings in comparison to the hospital thermometer readings.
