What’s the name of the female competitor in the long jump?

Ah, well she doesn't really have a name as she is a composite person! I have mixed and matched parts of three of the blind bag figures to get a female athlete with prosthetic blade (Pierre's legs, Yaroslava's top half and Janice's hair). Playmobil have so far only made 2 people with a prosthetic blade, both male, but as one of them is a Figure (and therefore take apartable) I was able to make a female athlete!

Today there are throwing events for people of short stature. Adlai is first with the hammer throw.

He's very happy with that throw!

I store it all in my shed. It's kept in plastic storage boxes arranged according to theme (and labelled) on a set of shelving which runs along one side of the shed.

Some of it originally belonged to my ds, who played with it a lot from the ages of 5 up until early teens. But he is 23 now, so I have taken over his collection and added to it over the last few years.

I try not to stand on it, as some of it can get broken that way. I remember several years ago we had to superglue Bossy Ross's leg back on after ds's grandad accidentally stood on him!

Some great action to catch up on. As always kudos to the camera person for the action shots, especially in the basketball. The long jump was exciting too, (I always feel sorry for the long jumpers, the high jumpers and pole vaulters have squishy soft play stuff to land on, but the long jumpers only have hard sand, must be a big bump)

Looking forward to finding out the mysterious parcel contents soon.

You might have to wait until the last day or two for the parcel contents! I held off a bit, as wasn't sure exactly when the parcel would arrive!
