Find me an everyday dress please

I need a dress that would cover a variety of different activities e.g. house party, cinema trip, restaurant visit etc. Something that could be dressed up or down depending on accessories chosen. I'm rubbish at shopping so would love reccomendations.

I'm 5 foot so pretty short and size 20/22 and carry the weight on my chest and stomach.

Thanks. I'm not a huge fan of animal print but I love the style of that one.
