Zafira tourer - can't see the satnav screen on sunny days, has anyone found a solution?

Can you buy anything to stop the reflection of the sun on summer days?
Probably the same problem on other cars.

I have neither your car or your satnav, but can you switch it to night mode? Would that work any better? (I use Google maps on my phone which is where that mad idea came from.)

That's an interesting suggestion. I'm not sure if I can switch to night mode but I will check. Thanks

I have a built in sat nav on my Nissan Note, cant see it on sunny days. Tried leaving the mini glove box thing above it, leaving the lid up, doesnt shield it

Night mode just renders it pitch black to the eye, not the solution on mine unfortunately
