Embarrassed! Asked if I was pregnant..

Name change for this!

Im embarrassed that someone asked when I’m due… I’m not pregnant. I think someone once before also thought I was pregnant on the tube as they suddenly stood up for me.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Im about a size 12 these days (used to be so tiny) and my fat does go to my legs, belly and arms with a small waist still.

I was a bit bloated, I think I’m intolerant to lactose but haven’t had it tested. That day I had crumpets for breakfast and a plant based quiche and salad for lunch. So not really any lactose. Unless it was from the lasagne and ice cream the night before?

Any tips or advice on beating the bloat?

That's happened to me and I hate it. I just very loudly snap at them ''I'M NOT PREGNANT'' and give them an evil look!

It’s happened to me in the past before. It is extremely rude for an adult to pass comment.
Now I am pregnant, loads of people do comment and I am just 26 weeks. I’ve been having comments since maybe 16 weeks. I would never mention it unless the woman does, or unless she is actually giving birth. 😂

I’m so glad to hear that I’m not the only one so thanks so much for sharing!! It’s hard to forget it after you’ve been on the receiving end.

Happened to me 9 years ago- I won't forget it ever because not only was I mistaken for being pregnant when I wasn't, they thought I was 9 months actually in labour pregnant 😖(I took my best friend to the maternity hospital and went to get her bag, when I came back with it they thought I was checking in). I think about it all the time and it still fills me with horror and sadness, especially because I have got no smaller!

Sorry it happened to you- it's horrible.
