DS has just got into Minecraft and I absolutely love it

Why have I not been playing this already? It’s so fun.

He is nearly 5 so just rolls around in creative mode putting doors and beds everywhere, but his cousins and my friend’s DS are a little older and he has been introduced to it through them. But now I’m playing it in secret when he goes to bed 🙃

Since being a parent I’ve also rediscovered the joy of slow bike rides - I cycled a lot before, but it was always commuting or exercise focused. Now that DS is getting more competent I love a slow jaunt around the park, stopping to look at everything interesting (or disgusting).

I love Forza 5!! Secretly play that when my son is in bed!

It's great, even my late teens still play occasionally!

I loved Lemmings, just enjoy it.

I love it too! We play all together on a Friday night and have pizza 😂 also love Animal Crossing, Mario Kart and Forza

@DisgruntledPelican You can start doing seasonal builds! Like in Autumn / Halloween make a pumpkin patch and a witch hut in the evening so when he next plays there’s a surprise for him! Also at Christmas you can make a little Lapland experience for him with snowball throwing machines 😂

Mario Kart is a good shout, I used to love that. Been thinking about investing in a Switch at some point, my ancient Wii still works but it definitely looks its age!

I like Minecraft too! Mining is so relaxing and satisfying, a great way to wind down. Also the sounds are very ASMR.

Yep, I like to too! 🙈 mine don’t play so much now they’re older, but my eldest had a solid 2-3 obsessed years and I loved watching him build roller coasters etc.
We have the Sims 4 on our Xbox and I sometimes spend a couple of hours post bedtime on it!

Your children sound very creative and talented. I can't even build a good Minecraft house, let alone a roller coaster!
