I want to travel to Europe next week. I believe there are rules around issue dates?

Which country? Some have requirements that need 6 months remaining on passport before you travel.

You'll be fine. You need ten years from issue date, which you have, and 3 months left on it before that date for Europe, which would be 26/10/24. So before then you're good to go.
