Clearpay and Amazon. Been charged more?

At checkout a code was applied and my total amount was 126 quid.

Clearpay total said 146 quid but don't worry codes will be applied later or something.

Well I paid my first installment based on 146 quid and it's 5 days later and my 4 split payments still add upto 146.

Customer service said I won't be charged that once amazon confirm the payment amount, which happens at dispatch but I recieved the items days ago.

My amazon receipt says 126 and I sent it to clearpay but they just keep saying there can be a slight difference until the amount is confirmed by retailer.

Im going thro the same thing now i got charged with clearpay £185.88 instead of £161.49 a total of £24.39 over. Clearpay arent helping at all and ive been waiting since yesterday for a reply in the chat box

My order was placed on 4th Aug
And in 11th Aug I got an email saying the amount on clearpay has been reduced.

So I think it will be amended but can take a week!

I've experienced a plethora of gremlins from (un)clearpay since embarking on my adventure with them .... but the pros outweigh the cons really so for once i will abstain from moaning like a centenarian with the old farmer giles (piles) .....
