Blackpool air show - is it a nightmare?

Really want to take the family this weekend, then read that upwards of 300k people descend on Blackpool over the 2 days! That's crazy numbers

Is it worth it? How does everyone park? Is there somewhere else you can watch the show from without being caught in the madness?

We go every year and love it. Yes it’s busy but there’s lots of room on the prom. We go on the pier which is a couple of pounds each usually but a bit more space. Parking should be ok If you get to Blackpool early enough.

We always like to park near North Pier there are a couple of multi storey car parks nearby but if you Google you’ll see plenty of car parks. We get there about 10am. Maybe too early for you seeing as it doesn’t start until 2pm but we have us some Blackpool fun first 😎
