Fear or laziness - Exercise after COVID?

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I did anything other than a gentle walk. Travelled for work first, came back sick, was not too bad, WFH throughout, worst symptom nasal congestion, chocking on everything running down inside my head (sorry TMI).

And I am still all bunged up, not sure when I can safely run, read about heart complications if start too early and it’s a strange mix of fear and apathy to even start again. Not sure what is happening with me, I am a fitness regular though not hench or superfit.

What is going on with me? How anyone else been through this?

I felt a bit like that after Covid. I got back into my usual fitness routine slowly over a couple of weeks & then I was fine.

I was forced to cancel fitness activities until after 3 weeks had passed, even then doing light yoga was difficult, really full on sweaty.
I would say don’t push yourself to be running, build very slowly.
