Scared about the protests

I live a few roads down from one of the protest locations tonight (0.3 miles). I'm quite scared, my care company gave my carer a lift to visit me because they didn't think she should be walking around at 4ish in my area. Police have been parking up in my local area. Obviously I'm staying inside, I really hope it goes peacefully, but so many places have had riots, I'm scared.

Sorry to hear that. My mum's a carer and one of her clients that told her something was happening in the area as she saw it on Facebook this weekend. She drives and has planned a different route. I'm planning on staying in as much as possible to avoid anything. I'm angry though as it's not the diverse area I love - I don't recognise this kind of behaviour. I'm limiting the news on it and doing light hearted positive things.
