No personal experience, but I'm going to a magic hotel there the final week of October. There are fb groups and previous holiday goers said it was 20-25c at height of day and cool in evenings. Hope it works out right 😎

The natura one with safari and water park, seemed better for kids ages

I'm a bit panicky about being so near Benidorm cos of the stereotype-not helped by my watching the old Benidorm comedy tv series!

We still want to go to the beach and have days out though, including the medieval show at Robin Hood

I was so torn between choosing between the natura one. You don't need to be worried about going to Benidorm. It will be what you make it, I'm sure you're not heading to the strip at 11 at night with the kids haha. The beaches are gorgeous , lavante in new town is pristine. Old town is lovely too. Fingers crossed for great weather in October!

We normally go further South than Benidorm. At that time of year the weather is normally warm and sunny in the day time, but cooler in the evenings. It might be warm enough to swim, but not necessarily. The sea would probably be warmer than an unheated pool, but wetsuits for the kids should help if they are keen swimmers. I've swum in the sea in late November, but think that was lucky.

It's normally a great time of year for pottering around Spain in a comfortable temperature, shopping in markets, seeing sights, all the stuff that it's just too hot to do when it's sweltering in August.

I've also experienced huge downpours leading to floods at that time of year, so I think you need to be prepared for some cooler weather, just in case.

Thanks for reply's , bit of luck then it should be fine :) we live in Cornwall so kids are used to cold sea! Guess will also have the benefit of the weather forecast when packing to leave also

I might swap rash vests for wetsuits then 😆

Day out ideas in the locality very welcome , we would love to go snorkelling and visit local sites as well as indulge in all the magic hotels stuff ☺️
