Have I made a fool of myself?

Saturday night me and my partner went out to celebrate our new jobs.
I had a few too many cocktails and ended up in a cheesy bar and sang karaoke.
I sang me and my best friends song and my partner filmed it .
For some reason I thought it was a good idea to upload to facebook and tag my friend "this one's for you"
Then you have be on karaoke dancing around (thankfully other people's voices are louder than mine )

I feel stupid now ,sober
I don't know what possessed me to do it.
My ex is on her Facebook and mutual friends.
I know it sounds stupid after all year but I don't want my ex seeing it and thinking "looser "

Fleetheart · 07/08/2024 09:24

sounds like fun! post it here for us 😅😅

Don't worry. When you do make a fool of yourself it never appears as bad to other people as it does inside your head.

Anyway, nobody expects somebody doing karaoke to be a model of pose and decorum.

Forget about it.

@Fleetheart I would deffo get banned 😂

Honestly, if I saw a video like that posted on someone's social media, it would definitely make me smile. But in a good way! I'd love the fact that you looked like you were having fun and probably be a tiny bit (a lot!) jealous that you were confident enough to do it.

leavescometrue · 07/08/2024 12:28

That's okay then
I was probably over thinking it
I didn't realise how much I loved singing till the other night 😂
