Bought dry shampoo but it’s empty.

Did a primark spree with DD today. A fair few bits, some need exchanging for a smaller size so I do need to go back for that. With her haul she bought dry shampoo, 2 cans, but when unpacking at home we noticed one was completely empty. Not half used, like there’s nothing there. Part of me thinks for the sake of £1.50 I should let it go, but part of me thinks that as I am going anyway, I should take it with me and exchange.

DH thinks they won’t change as I can’t prove it was empty.

Has anyone come across anything like this before?

Take it back. You know you arn’t making it up so a place as reputable as primark should exchange it. Just bring the receipt aswell

Happened to me with mascara once. It was sealed, but turned out to be completely empty. Boots exchanged it without any problems.

Brill, thank you. I feel annoyed that I didn’t notice when we picked them up, I purposely went to the back of the shelf too!

You can make the point that no one would bother with the hassle of lying for £1.50. If you were going to bother you would do it for something of value

That’s a really good point @Hucklemuckle, thank you.

@madamehelga I wouldn’t make the trip or exchange just for that though, there’s 4 other items to change/return.

I've taken several things to till point that have been completely sealed but empty , so the staff can write them off.
It's also annoying , when people try things in shops but don't buy them, then someone else does, and it's not full.
If you're going back take it with you, you have nothing to loose, they should exchange it, but they might not
