Not sure where to post this but we need a bit of guidance and I'm hoping someone can point us in the right direction. DC is 18 and an American citizen but hasn't lived there since they were 3. I know we need to be looking at state tax return but where do we start? I don't think they've earned enough to do a federal tax return. The info online is really confusing.
