Hangover or something else?

I (very stupidly) got a bit too drunk on Friday, I was absolutely fine one minute, drunk but fine, and then the next I was just gone, lots of flashbacks of falling over, memory loss and lots of bruises! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was sick twice Saturday morning, but still felt a bit tipsy when I woke up. It's now day 4 and I just feel awful! I (again very stupidly) mixed my drinks a lot, but surely I shouldn't be feeling this bad still?!

I feel awful and have thought of the following options:

A) slight alcohol poisoning as it was a lot in one go.
B) caught a bug that's just piggy backed onto the hangover.
C) now that I've turned 30 I just cannot handle alcohol anymore?

I appreciate that it was very stupid in my part, I'm sure someone will come along to tell me it's not big or clever to get that drunk. It was my fault, I should've scaled it back I know, but as I say I was fine one minute and then gone the next 🤦🏻‍♀️

Any thoughts/opinions would be much appreciated!

It sounds like a bug mixed with alcohol, keep hydrated and rest as much as you can.

Did anyone have a chance to put something into your drink?

it sounds like you weren’t expecting to suddenly be so out of it which is what made me wonder.

@Sparrowball - this does seem the most logical reason. Im hoping this is the case anyway.

@Rainbows89 - this did cross my mind, as I was fine before we went into this club and then that's when it all went downhill. But I was with a family member the whole time and I also feel like even that sort of thing would be out of my system by now!

I'm just wrecked with guilt and shame of being so stupid!
