Not in the impacted areas re: riots but lots of posts on the village FB page saying how awful it is and various local groups offering support if anyone is worried or has family they are concerned about.

A resident has older parents in an area of unrest but doesn't have the space to house them and a village resident has offered their family annex (I think it was a granny flat type thing) free for the week so they are close to family and away from the riots.

Local church has put out a post for a special service to pray or support (if you are not religious- I'm not) tomorrow evening with all invited to show community solidarity. Expected to be a big turnout.

I think it's been a pretty good response locally, but we're very much removed from it iyswim.

your community sounds lovely!

i was pleasantly surprised by my local FB group where the rioting was quickly denounced by 98% of posters. i was worried due to other stuff i’d seen during the election cycle so was very happy to be wrong in my assumption!
