Says that both men were compliant until the stamp on.the head.....didn't seem.very compliant to me

I didnt realise being "compliant" meant punching 2 policemen in the face & jumping on their backs.

I do not condone the policeman kicking & stamping on the man on the ground but the 2 men certainly started to aggression from the film latter released in the media.

I do hope Manchester Police counter this rubbish just put out.

These two delights were in court yesterday. I can’t see any reports. Has there been a ban on reporting this?

Absolute nonsense... the video footage more than speaks to what happened.

I see they've gone for the race angle.... presumably to put heavy pressure on either a not guilty or diminished sentances due to concerns about "racial tension" being high " in the community"

Given its an airport there should be footage to back up the claims of the mother being assaulted so badly her face bruised and was attacked by hand luggage

Presumably airline staff can back her claim up that somerandom dude "abused and 'bullied' her for several hours"

I dont condone stamping on heads but honestly those police probably actually feared for their lives (i would) and people will do a lot in the heat of the moment if they think they are actually about to be killed/ someone could have killed or seriously injured them

Waiting for the 'police should expect and accept ' being assaulted in their job rubbish... so the officers being hit means nothing...

It’s an absolute joke. They are thugs. We could all see what they did. How it’s took so long to get them to court is a mystery. Lucy Connelly was tried and sentenced in the blink of an eye. And that was a tweet.

Down 1lb so better than nothing I suppose. Mainly thanks to a hol where the veggie options at every single meal were aubergine based. I mean I do like aubergine but…. Still it helped. Hoping for another couple lbs this month though

Lucy Connelly wasn't tried, as she pled guilty to charges. That's why she is in jail now. No need for a trial. They've pled not guilty so it goes to court, and that takes time. That's how the legal system works
