kids are ill and I'm bored

My son has chicken pox, I can't go anywhere and I'm so bored!! So are they!

Depends on the age..? I'm in a similar situation at the moment - we got a few Lego minifigure jigsaw puzzles which passed quite a few hours and I quite enjoyed doing them.

I've been have a bit of a sort out of artwork and toys whilst finding old things we haven't played with in a while. Bits of decluttering here and there

Far too much screen time and movies... I'd also love some ideas for a 7 year old and a teen.....

How old are they? What are they into?

Things I've done in past in similar situations

Tape on floor to make a road and then make houses from cardboard and drive cars etc around

Potion making in the garden

Baking / cooking

Slime making

Collage making from magazines / brochures

Den building

Lots of screen time

Scavenger hunt

Yes alot of screen time here too 😅 mine are 7 and 4. Done some board games and painting in the end today. Might get some lego out tomorrow 🤔 not easy is it haha
