Competitive cheap holiday thread

Just for fun, and also because I'm super excited!

I'm packing up for camping today - stuff has been built up, mostly second hand, over the years. All basics, nothing fancy.

So my holiday has cost me..... £51. Tues night through Friday night.

Tomorrow we will go to the beach (parking cost plus a supermarket pack of lollies). The next day we will find a decent park. It's about a three hour drive to Wales so we have petrol costs.

I have food for packed lunches. We are eating evening meals at my cousins. We will make pancakes for breakfasts - so will need fresh milk as we can't keep that in a tent.

Feeling pretty satisfied with myself and excited to get away.

Anyone else able to enjoy a cheap holiday with me? Make me feel better about being flat broke?
