Need a hand hold, I'm on my own

I'm sorry for being needy when the world is literally on fucking fire.
My favourite uncle is dying. He's only 18 years older than me and he's meant to live forever. He's literally been the one who I know will have my back and literally fight my corner of needed. I'm trying not to cry until my son goes to sleep. I'm absolutely cut up. I know this is a small problem in the world the way it is but I'm alone as my husband is in work and it's too late to call any friends.

I’m really sorry @RosieProbert

Losing someone you love is HUGE. Don’t feel you need to apologise because there are other things going on in the world.

Sending you love and have said a wee prayer that Ian is comfortable and not in any pain

I'm so very sorry. I lost an uncle too, in his fifties, about a year before my brother died of a brain tumour at 15 so I can completely sympathise. Ian sounds lovely. All I can say is that you and your family will get through this x
