Washing up liquid or liquid hand soap and lots of warm water. Then in-between I sometimes use the spray I get from Amazon but they usually need a wash in the sink once a day

I use a leather chamois cloth you normally use for the car windows. Used it once as I’d nothing else and they come up sparkling !

Lidl glasses wipes. They are amazing and like looking through HD once cleaned with them.

A microfibre cloth is best. If the lenses are very smeary then there could be oils or grease on them in which case a little bit of handsoap and warm water. Rinse well then dab dry with a clean tissue and then finish with the microfibre cloth.

I was going to say aldi glasses wipes! Both of my kids use these and find them very good and no fuss. They are super cheap too for a big box.

A drop of washing up liquid, rinse and dry. No need for wipes, there are far too many in landfill and sewers already.

I squirt washing up liquid on each side, rub it in under warm water, then rinse. Dry with a piece of kitchen roll for each lens. Been doing this for many many years.

Warm water and washing up liquid.Blot with paper ,polish with one of those little cloths you get with glasses.
I do like the Lidl wipes but partner used all the time and would leave them everywhere.
Plus not v green.

Washing up liquid and warm water, dry and polish with a muslin (I've repurposed a whole batch of baby muslins as glasses cloths!)

This
They are v good
If you are quick, you can do 3 pairs of specs with each wipe

JobMatch3000 · 05/08/2024 22:02

Bog standard soap and water.

juicelooseabootthishoose · 05/08/2024 22:12

I find kitchen roll absorbs the grease and sweat better rather than just smearing it around.
They buff up nice with it. No sprays or wipes here. I get asked to do everyones in the house.

DubhLinn24 · 05/08/2024 22:12

Never wipes - you're rubbing tiny particles of dirt over the glass and scratching it. First rinse off under warm water to remove tiny particles. Then clean with a small drop of dish soap. Can do arms, etc., not just the glass. Rinse off suds and dry with lint free cloth. Will keep the glass sparking and scratch free.

Me either. I'm convinced they coat in them in something annoying so you have to buy their cleaning spray
