In the vein of gone girl; or more gone girl than Harlan Coben, if you see what I mean. Something with a great twist.

Someone has told me to read Magpie by Elizabeth Day. I also have the Thursday Murder Club audio book.

Off on holiday with the family so obviously snatched quiet moments will be precious and want something gripping!

Conviction by Jack Jordan

passengers by John Marrs

I would try something like:

Just another missing person by Gillian McAllister

Or

The Push by Ashley Audrain

The Poison Tree by Erin Kelly or Blood Orange.

Sharp Objects, Gillian Flynn. Same author as Gone Girl but imo a better book. Quite grim in parts !
