Split by room or person for Airbnb

Hello,

Airbnb booking for two rooms, I'm going with DH in one room and SIL in the second room (just her in the second room). Would you split the total bill 3 ways or per room?

Although tbf if it was a hotel she'd have to pay for her own room same as you

Update: we split 3 ways so me and husband paid £500 and SIL paid £250. Money has been transferred.

Have re-checked the Airbnb and actually one room is a queen bed with ensuite, one room is either two singles or two singles pushed together to make a king. There is a separate main bathroom. Not sure based on the responses whether we should get the en-suite room or not 😂😂😂
