Michael Frison, missing person in Sardinia

My heart goes out to the mother of this missing British man, missing in Sardinia since the 13th of July.
I don't understand why this missing person case has got so much less publicity than other recent high profile ones? Anyway I wanted to share this as I know there may be mumsnetters on holiday in Sardinia or with connections there.
I do hope that Michaels mother gets some news soon, and that it is positive news.

Thanks for sharing this. You're right it's not getting much publicity.

Human bodies are really not very good at dealing with heat. I don't recommend anyone go walking alone but men seem to think they're bulletproof 😕

Thanks for your comment. I suppose there is so much going on globally that this news story is getting overshadowed. I hope his poor mum gets some news soon.

Yeah not sure why he isn't front page Daily Mail really

Poor lad, hope he's found soon

papadontpreach2me · 06/08/2024 18:51

I hadn't even heard of this case. I hope he's found quickly

Ihateboris · 06/08/2024 18:52

Thank you for this. I can’t believe it's not getting more coverage? How awful for his family.

That’s heartbreaking. I hadn’t seen this story. From the article sadly it seems likely he wouldn’t have survived the heat if he was injured somewhere. I hope that’s not the case and there’s a happy resolution.

Tbh nowadays you need friends and family who are social media savvy to get your story out. And to keep pushing it.

Thats one of the big differences with the other high profile cases recently.

Domoda · 08/08/2024 11:04

Yes. I really feel for this mum having to deal with this heartbreaking situation without the support or publicity that other cases have had
