Expectations of a cleaning service

I live in a tiny two up two down terrace. How much work would you expect a cleaner to do in an hour? Thanks

Cleaner here. Just downstairs, especially if you've got highway gloss units and non carpet floors.

Basic clean of bathroom and toilet - basin, bath, taps, mirrors, shower screen if applicable quick wipeover of tiles, bath panel and floor [ i.e.not enough time to deep clean anything at all such as tiles/ grout/crevices, details etc] hoover throughout, quick detol spray of kitchen surfaces plus sweep/ mop kitchen floor. I'm quick and effective but I'd find what I've described here as a bit of a stretch in an hour to be honest.
I can't imagine you could do more than that in an hour and it really would be a lick and a promise. Also, I guess it would also depend on how tidy your home was to start with as proper tidying takes time in my opinion.

In an hour - a hoover through, wipe of kitchen tops/sink, downstairs loo and a quick polish of furniture.

Nowhere near enough time to do a proper job. Minimum 2 hours needed.

I would say just downstairs assuming it's easy to clean, so no clutter, not a lot of ornaments to dust.
Also no windows, no oven/microwave, no washing up.

If you have the family bathroom downstairs it depends on it's size.

We had a two up/two down and our cleaner did 3 hours.

Thanks all. I have 2 cleaners that come for an hour and I get a hoover and mop of the floors, a clean of the bathroom but I don't ask for all rooms to be cleaned (we don't use the back bedroom) so I wondering if I was expecting too much.

If you have two cleaners that's basically a 2hr clean. I would expect for a two up/two down to be cleaned properly.
