Help me connect TV?

I moved into a flat and have an old 2009 TV. There is an aerial cable socket on the back of the TV and on the wall.

I don't have a cable. Do I just need to buy a white aerial cable and plug in?

I don't normally have a TV so this is why I'm so clueless

Buy a cable and insert one part into the socket and the other into the TV.
