Poor DD1 is horrendously unwell and has vomited all over her cream bedroom carpet which is now stained with bile - how do I get it out?!

Dr Beckmann upholstery cleaner.

Remove as much of the solids are possible and use a damp cloth to lift up. Everything else that you can then use the upholstery cleaner as directed and it should all come out and smell fine. I use this for anything that my cat does on our carpets and it comes up perfect.

I'd start with trying bicarbonate of soda, sprinkle it on fairly generously, give it a rub in with a cloth or Sponge, leave it an hour or so and then vacuum it off again.

I hope she is feeling better soon.
I used vanish carpet cleaner recently (on a dog wee!) and it cleaned it off perfectly.

Could you add a small runner along the bed to prevent future accidents?

Cream carpet + children = 😱

I would sponge it down with washing powder mixed in warm water, once it's cooled scrub the area with it. Sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda once it's dried and hoover it up.

If it's a polypropylene carpet you can use bleach but double check on a small area. If it is through to the underlay then a new carpet is required.

Anything for pet stains usually does the trick
