Recurring dream - what do you think it means

Hi bit of an odd one. I keep dreaming of different things but always in the same place.

I'm in a bus terminal and there are several queues for different buses. The terminal is on quite a steep hill and my bus stop is always at the top of the hill.

Different things happen at the bus terminal. For example, I'm looking for someone, or I'm late for something, or I go to the wrong stop. Last night I kissed someone.

Sometimes the bus stop dream involves me getting on a bus at the bottom of a hill but there's only one bus per day so it's important to get the right bus.

The bus journeys are usually long distance.

I never use buses in RL although I used them a lot 30 years ago.

Obviously the bus station represents something, especially having to walk up a hill to get to my stop, but I'm finding it difficult to work out what my subconscious is telling me

Hoping for some insights

I love interpreting dreams.

If that was my dream I'd think that the bus terminal with all the different buses going in different directions is Life, and all the choices we have and decisions we need to make. It being at the top of the hill represents the struggle to activate ourselves to move ahead with life goals. Only one bus per day to get to the terminal suggests sometimes you can fast track a goal but not always. Usually it's a slog, but watch out for the occasional chance or opportunity.

The anxiety stuff at the terminal - being late, looking for someone - that's all the life stuff that distracts us from doing what we want with our lives. We can be ready to move forward then stall because we focus on others or miss opportunities or head off in the wrong direction.

I have no idea if this is accurate. But that is how I would interpret it. And it would make me get out a journal and write about what I have always wanted to do and not yet done, and how to start doing it!

Sounds like anxiety. I don't think the bus or hill represent anything deep and meaningful, it's just a difficult /stressful situation.

That makes sense @Meadowwild , because I often feel like I can't do things I want to do because of work or restrictions from others.

I once had a dream about a bf where we were supposed to get a train but he got on a different train. It was saying that we were going in different directions. I was a single mother and he was in his 40s living at home. Dream helped me realise that we had no future. When we split I found out that he was gay. Which I think I knew on a subconscious level.

It's the only time I've dreamed of the same place but with different scenarios which is the part I found strange.

I used to write my dreams down the second I woke up. I might start doing that again.
