I'd love to move to a different part of the country. I'm 60 and thinking about retiring and this will be my last move hopefully. I love the coast and would love to be able to walk to the beach (and the country but the coast is more of a draw), I'd like somewhere with a community feel/activities and a few shops and ideally with good public transport links (I'm thinking of this as I get older). I'm currently very active (love walking, running, gym, cycling). I love peace and quiet but don't want to be too isolated (again thinking of future requirements). Currently living in the south east which is very busy (traffic, etc). Would not really like to go any further north than Lincolnshire/Derbyshire. Budget probably around £400k max. Any ideas please?
