Hi, just set up one of these and don’t like how it announces things from the speakers in the device. For example firmware updates, whether it has been set up.

I had an event captured, which was a person walking past - I could hear my Ring speaking in the background which was odd. any way to turn this off?

There are some settings where you can choose where the camera picks up, so instead of the whole view, you can choose the area right in front of you front door if thats any better?

You go on the app, devices, click the device you're wanting to change, then motion settings.

But there are lots of settings you can change in this menu.
