The lack of a Harris endorsement doesn't mean much. She did endorse Biden in 2020, so I think we sort of know her political 'leanings'.

Being friends with Brittany Mahomes certainly doesn't mean she supports Trump. Rather, she's trying to keep her politics out of her friendships.

Without looking, I would bet the gish gallop means talking fast and coming out with so much bullshit that other people lose the will to live and give up bothering to argue.

For any night hawks in the UK, BBC will carry the debate and Channel 4 will broadcast live coverage. (The debate kicks off at 2am in the UK.)

I hate myself for it, but I'm going to stay up. DH is going to sleep but setting an alarm for 2 (1:50 because he says he needs to time to pour a whisky 😃).

Unless one of the candidates has an apoplexy on stage I don't think this debate will resolve anything. Each side will declare they've won. What really counts is whether in the next few days polling shows that a candidate has won over non/swing voters.
