Any tips on how I can offset a small weight gain?

I really don't want to go into a deficit if I don't have to.. I had been doing well on a decent maintenance calorie and macro counted diet for a very long time - not trying to lose or gain any weight

Then life got a bit shit and it came undone somewhat, I haven't gained much but perhaps 6lbs maybe. Just crappier food choices and eating more rubbish in general. I want to get back where I was - but don't really want to restrict and get into that mindset where I'm super hungry! Would it be logical to just eat at my previous maintenance level again like I plan to as an ongoing lifestyle, and hope it'll level back out?

Calorie deficits seem to mess with my hormones, energy levels etc so I just don't think they work for me, but equally I need to get rid of this fluff around my middle 😆

You’re going to need to reduce your calorie intake. What are you currently eating?
