Help with a Vinted purchase

Hi all,
I bought something a children’s toy off Vinted. After posting the item - the seller then message me to say she had not posted a part of the toy - and would post separately either today or Monday. The parcel has arrived today - Vinted only give you 2 days to say something is wrong with the item or they automatically update the order to completed - thus you will not be able to claim a refund.
If I choose the “something is wrong box” and opt for the return/refund option - can I cancel if the buyer does indeed send the missing part of the toy? How long does she have to “respond” to my refund/return request. I have every faith that she will send the missing part however she is a stranger and I really don’t want to be out of pocket by doing nothing. I have contacted Vinted for advice - there turnaround for a reply is 48 hours - so they may not reply before my 2 days is up.
any help/advice what to do in this situation?

Report it then it pauses they payment being released and that can make someone get a wiggle on posting it and sorting it out

Yes report it but just tell her that's what you are doing until the final bit arrives

Report it. I was nice and waited after being sent the wrong item. The seller said they would post the item I paid for but never sent the correct item.
By the time I complained there wasn't anything I could do.
