Breastfeeding/Nipple help

I have a sore on my nipple from my 15 month old feeding. I think it’s because she got new teeth and her latch changed while she was adjusting.

It’s like a small open wound in the centre of my nipple that scabbed over. The pain when feeding is immense.

I have been using Silverette cups as I have them from an open nipple wound when feeding my eldest, and I’ve just got some Jelonet.

My question is, can I use Jelonet and the Silverette cups together? Because I’m sure the cups say not to combine with anything else because of the silver.

So not sure what to do? Any advice greatly appreciated!

There is no redness, swelling, fever etc so no concerns there.

Why would jelonet + silver cups be an issue? Give it a go.

Assume you've stopped feeding from that breast for a little while. Are you able to pump/express without pain to relieve engorgement?

The instructions on the silver cups says not to put any other substance on it in case it interferes with the silver, so I was worried about that as they’re expensive!

I haven’t stopped feeding from that side, it’s just less painful to feed than pump. Pumping is definitely more painful 😞
