Most wrong assumption you've made about someone

I'm a receptionist in a barbers. A client has two boys they bring regularly aged about 8 and 18.
I've always idly wondered about the large age gap, was it by choice, different mums, fertility issues etc (just to clarify, I never asked!)
Anyway today I saw the whole family out and about. There's also 4 girls in between the ages of the two boys 😂 this possibility had never occurred to me!

Assuming that elderly ladies who looked like my mum would also be pleasant and kind. Now realising that she was probably unusual in her loveliness
