Can you use pizza trays in pizza oven?!

First time pizza oven users.

Total disaster. Turned to mush and can't get it out.

For the next one can we use a pizza baking tray?!

Will it melt as too hot?

I don't know, but would think if its hot enough to melt metal, then it would vaporise a pizza

You can get a wire mesh tray to put the pizza on in the pizza oven, but the base doesn’t cook as well.

If it turned to mush then it’s too wet before it goes in. Less tomato sauce, less toppings and make it quickly - the less time between adding the tomato sauce and getting it in the oven the better.

You don't need a tray, you obviously did something wrong! Did you make the base too thick, too much topping, topping too close to the edge, not hot enough before starting, not floured the pizza base?

Top tips! Thanks all

I'm putting heaps of flour on the paddle for the next one.

To be fair first one tastes amazing but looks like roadkill.

Use semolina flour not normal flour. It's courser and prevents the pizza sticking.
