Can anyone answer a couple of questions about Delonghi Bean to Cup Machines ?

I've never used one of these but there will be one at a holiday rental house.

Dumb question but do you literally put unground beans in it or should the coffee be ground ?

How many cups would one bag of beans/ground make or how many spoons to make one cup of coffee ?

I'm a Nespresso kinda gal so know nothing at all about Bean to Cup. TIA

Might depend on the machine but mine can do both. I usually just stick beans in the top. It has a different setting for ground coffee.

They do videos on YouTube. Always helpful.

Uses about 20g of bean per grind, if that helps? I just fill it up, use, clean it occasionally, it's a fab bit of kit.

Ours is the Magnifica. We put beans in the tray at the top and it grinds the right amount for the type of coffee you choose. A pack of beans lasts approximately a week, using it for two or three cups a day.

You can set the machine to make the type of coffee you choose- needs a bit of sorting out to begin with, but then it’s just pressing a button. DH likes a frothy coffee, so he uses the milk frother.

I don't use the frother as I'm lazy but it's very easy to use. Mine is also the Magnifica, bought it as it has great reviews and it is really good.
